Chemist (IRPC POLYOL)

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage QA/QC quality system (Raw material, In-process control and Finish goods).
• Be responsible and monitoring day to day of all QA/QC and operation activities to ensure quality of product from start to end.
• Conduct non-routine tests and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues (inprocess, product complaint) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Research and review analytical and testing processes/procedure to increase laboratory efficiency.
• Perform analytical method validation and assigns analytical testing method to analyst to ensure all the result is accuracy and reliable, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Ensure that all documentation and records related to QA/QC activities are maintained accurately and up-to-date.
• Maintains preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment within due date.
• Evaluate and prepare new testing method according to new products procedure.
• Manage lab inventory stock (chemical, reagent, glassware and other supplies).
• Implementing quality control systems according to ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and supporting other systems.
• Coaching lab analyst on work processes as needed.
• Participate in internal/external audits, and customer meetings to demonstrate the company's commitment to quality.
• Other work assigned by Manager.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor / Master Degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control roles
• Good understanding in ISO management standards (ISO9001, 14001, 45001,17025)
• Relevant certifications are a plus
• Good command of spoken and written English. (Toeic 550+)
• Strong leadership
