Responsibilities:
- Plan maintenance activities, including maintenance work, overhauls, calibration, and verification of machines and control instruments, electrical equipment, safety devices, buildings, and utilities systems to ensure efficiency and achievement of defined objectives.
- Set inspection/calibration plan for both electrical and instrument equipment to ensure timely completion, minimize machine breakdowns, and maximize production efficiency.
- Evaluate machine data to establish corrective and preventive maintenance plans that keep machines in optimal working conditions and ensure high operational efficiency.
- Follow up maintenance work to ensure compliance with planned schedules
- Analyze root causes of machine downtime to develop corrective and preventive actions that avoid recurrence of issues.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure effective execution of repair, maintenance, overhaul, calibration, inspection, and facility maintenance activities according to the established plan.
- Prepare scope of work for maintenance projects, select contractors, and ensure project completion within the approved budget and schedule
- Supervise and inspect the performance of maintenance personnel and contractors working within the plant.
- Prepare, verify, and manage stock levels (Min-Max) of spare parts and general parts to ensure sufficient availability for maintenance and repairs.
- Records machines and equipment issue for historical data, provide the report results to supervise monthly.
- Supervise and inspect installation, repair equipment & instrument issues including utilities to ensure systems are in good working condition, minimizing equipment breakdowns or damage.
- Propose improvement and development plans for machines and equipment in production or supporting processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Continuously seek new knowledge and propose innovations or new technologies to improve the efficiency of maintenance and repair operations.
- Implement and control productivity improvement activities such as 5S, suggestion programs, QCC, energy conservation, BBS, and compliance with ISO 9001, TIS/OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 standards, as well as other company initiatives.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal/external departments to execute maintenance and improvement projects as planned.
- Inspect and review safety practices of maintenance personnel and contractors working within the factory to ensure maximum workplace safety; also perform duties as a Safety Officer (Supervisor Level).
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, such as acting as Budget Officer, departmental representative for various activities, or handling SAP-related tasks, etc.
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation and work manuals.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field like Electronics or Instrumentation is typically required.
- Experience: 3 – 5 years
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation engineering principles.
- Proficiency in electrical drawing reviews and design.
- Experience with process control systems and instrumentation selection.
- Project management and supervisory skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- SAP skill for maintenance
