Process Engineer (IRPC POLYOL)

Responsibilities:

Process Optimization & Improvement:

  • Developing, optimizing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, safety and cost.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance with industry’s best practices and safety standards.
  • Monitoring and analyzing process data, identifying trends and proposing solutions for process improvement continuously.
  • Performing process capability studies, analyzing-data, decision-making to improve operational plants to achieve operational excellence and meet production targets.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield, reduce waste and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Drive process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives by optimizing resource utilization and minimizing waste.

 

Scale-up:

  • Scale-up new products by interface between production and R & D team, provide work instruction and hand over to operation team after completion

 

Project Management:

  • Drive projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve process inefficiencies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, technologies and equipment.

 

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements in all process engineering activities.
  • Conduct safety audits and promote a strong safety culture within the team.
  • Support ISO by coordinating with ISO team leader

 

Technology & Innovation:

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in process engineering
  • Recommend and implement automation, digitalization, and advanced manufacturing techniques

Qualification:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency in process analysis, process modelling and simulation software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
  • Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
